Samantha Rothberg is a dedicated triathlete, fitness coach, and member of Team USA (Age Group) for triathlon, frequently placing on the podium in her events. Her coaching approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, drawing on the latest research in exercise science and nutrition.
She is a certified NSCA Strength and Conditioning Coach, USAT Triathlon Coach, Precision Nutrition Level 2 Coach, and Titleist Performance Institute Fitness Level 2 Coach, with her work featured in Bustle, Women’s Health, and Runner’s World. Samantha’s expertise spans training for men, women, and children, with specializations in women’s health and golf fitness.
Samantha holds an undergraduate degree in Art History and Religious Studies from Bates College (Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and a master’s degree from The Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
After working at Sotheby’s Auction House, she pivoted to fitness in 2015, becoming a top-performing coach at Equinox Tribeca before relocating to the Hamptons during the pandemic. There, she enjoys swimming, biking, running, and lifting while helping her clients to achieve their goals.
Samantha has competed in powerlifting, triathlons, and equestrian sports, and she’s passionate about teaching women the importance of lifting heavy and feeling strong in both body and spirit. She is also an advocate for inclusivity in triathlon, serving as chair of the USA Triathlon Foundation Ambassadors and coaching with i-tri girls, a nonprofit program empowering girls through triathlon. Samantha supports the STAR Aqua Center’s mission to bring a pool to Southampton, New York.
